The Story: 

iRobot wanted us to devise a strategy in service for the Roomba to enter a new market and grow as a household name.

​

My Impact:

I was a part of a team where every member on the team shared equal responsibility for every step of the process. This was one of the most collaborative experiences I have ever had for a design project.

FINAL SOLUTION

Presented a model and explanation to provide a clear visual with a final service prototype and story telling to present the user’s journey with using our final product. Everything was then given to iRobot for their use.

Iterating on an already successful product is difficult, but adjusting my perspective pushed me to think outside the box. In business, there is always opportunity for growth, and through working with iRobot, I learned that there are countless avenues to explore when incorporating the business aspect to product design.

This was also the first time I tackled a project during the pandemic, so it was a huge learning curve on how to effectively work and produce quality work over video calls.
