01
MX Publishing Migration Service MVP
Goal: Establish a service that would efficiently and quickly migrate over 200 data consumers off of legacy systems onto a new and improved single source of truth
Current Thoughts: Despite all of the different histories, processes, and needs that products have to acquire and consume item/product data, there will always be patterns. I have an opportunity to use this opportunity to not only learn what makes the current experiences successful but also learn what behaviors Publishing should encourage with the new source of truth. Additionally, I have the opportunity to grow enthusiasm for this migration to boost excitement over push-back by not only presenting the immense benefits of the new source of truth but also foster collaborative efforts to speed up this migration.
02
MX Publishing Domain Onboarding
Goal: Centralize all of the knowledge, skills, and resources into one intuitive service for all old and new data consumers into a new architecture model
Current Thoughts: Making the distinction between actively migrating vs. onboarding makes the two different yet related projects exist in parallel.

03
Product Discontinue
Goal: The current Product Discontinue process runs on spreadsheets and inconsistent communications. Additionally, the current process is fragmented, so there is no clear idea on who should be responsible for the Product Discontinue process. I need to figure out what the future experience should be and who should be responsible for that future experience.
Current Thoughts: Because multiple people have tried to tackle this problem, I am looking at many pieces of research that seem disconnected. Bringing the engineers into the user sessions greatly help with improving the users’ perspective and also bridging the gap between all of the previous research.
04
Not-On-File Items Workflow
Goal: Fix the backend process of the front-end NOF workflow
Current Thoughts: Doing your due diligence to really figure out the scope will save your team’s time from unnecessary solutioning.
